En la muestra, el cuerpo se convierte en memoria histórica, naturaleza, conocimiento ancestral y tierra comunitaria, cuestionando las imposiciones de género que trajo occidente y el neoliberalismo individualista que destruyen comunidades de cuidado, conocimiento y alimentación. Las participantes se aproximan a problemáticas coloniales y de género que han tenido como conclusión algunas de las formas de violencia más horripilantes de la historia moderna y contemporánea como feminicidios masivos, violencia sexual como arma del genocidio y control de cuerpos esclavizados, y esterilizaciones forzosas. Cronológicamente, sus obras van de un enunciado crudo, sangriento y literal hasta una manifestación de mayor complejidad simbólica según avanza el siglo XXI. Los trabajos expuestos provocan diálogos sobre el saqueo y asentamiento en América Latina, y cómo esto ha afectado a los cuerpos feminizados, más aún, cuando hay intersección entre raza y género.
